Our History

Lomagundi College Trust Schools have a proud history of providing top-quality education in Zimbabwe. Established in 1983 to address the growing demand for smaller class sizes and quality education, our school was built on 120 hectares of land generously donated by our founders. Nestled in the rolling Hunyani Hills, just 7km west of Chinhoyi, Lomagundi College Trust Schools quickly became a beacon of academic and personal growth.

From humble beginnings, our school started with no uniform and partially completed buildings. However, our pioneering students and staff worked together to establish a thriving learning environment, even planting fields and lawns themselves. Since our founding, we have proudly celebrated our anniversary on February 14th each year, honouring our roots and continued commitment to excellence – take a look at our celebrations this year in 2025 here!
